2005 in it for life Research Fund Grants Competition Award Winners
Dr. Bernie Bressler, VP Research, VCH and Executive Director of VCHRI, is pleased to announce the awardees of the 2005 in it for life Research Fund grants competition, which is funded by the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. For 25 years, in partnership with its donors, the Foundation has helped advance world-class health care for British Columbians.
The following five investigators and their teams, who obtained the highest ratings out of 20 applications, will receive grants of up to $50,000 to support new clinical research projects with direct, immediate relevance to improving patient care, diagnosis, treatment, or disease prevention. We were pleased to see the high quality of applications submitted again this year. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who applied.
