The BC Health Research Connection Project will improve how patients and the public can find and connect to health researchers and research opportunities.  The project will develop a provincial website and online research registry for patients and public volunteers to sign up and provide contact and health-related information in order to be notified of research opportunities. This project is a demonstration project of the BC SUPPORT Unit.

This presentation is intended for researchers and research staff.

About the Speaker:

Stefanie Cheah is the Project Manager for the BC Health Research Connection Project. She has consulted on the development and operation of several permission to contact programs in various health areas in the province. She has also been involved with creating education programs and resources to support health and medical research. She has a MSc in Experimental Medicine from UBC and has a Project Management Professional designation.
