  • Health Canada’s new guidance document on Medical Device Investigational Testing Authorizations
  • when an Investigational Testing Authorization is required
  • additive manufacturing in medicine (i.e. 3D printing)
  • cybersecurity and software as a medical device

About the speaker:  Dr. Stephen Hoption Cann is a Clinical Professor in the UBC School of Population & Public Health, Health in Populations Division.  He received his PhD at the University of Victoria studying cancer immunology and biostatistics.  His research interests include the pathophysiology of fever in infectious diseases and the phenomenon of spontaneous disease remission in association with acute febrile infections.
