Join UBC’s Biomedical Branch Librarian for an interactive workshop on the principles of academic literature searches.  This workshop will provide an overview of PubMed, how best to search the database, and how to create better searches using medical subject headings (MeSH).  You will also learn how to create email alerts and transfer citations.

Speaker: Dean Giustini

Dean Giustini is a medical librarian working at UBC within an academic health and teaching centre at the Vancouver General Hospital.  He manages the UBC Biomedical Branch Library at the Diamond Health Care Centre and teaches information skills and systematic review searching.  His research interests are in better searching for the medical literature.
