Almost live from Palm Springs, California: UBC's Mark Tyndall, a Professor in the School of Population and Public Health and Executive Medical Director of the B.C. Centre for Disease Control, will make the case that harm reduction, such as Vancouver's supervised injection site, is the only viable solution to the drug epidemic, which is now the leading cause of death among Americans under age 50.
