The Rehabilitation Research Program aims to discover innovative solutions to optimize the outcomes of rehabilitation services and enhance quality of life for patients with complex injuries or disabilities.
Researchers work to develop innovative strategies and therapies for prevention and functional recovery after injury to realize better health outcomes and enhance quality of life for patients with complex injuries and disabilities requiring rehabilitation. Key areas of research include optimizing recovery after brain, spinal cord or neuromuscular injury; developing rehabilitation measurement tools; and improving quality of life through chronic disease management and other ambulatory or wheeled mobility.
