Purpose of Study 

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of a patient-tailored catheter ablation (CA) strategy guided by atrial scar mapping in addition to pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) when compared to PVI alone in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF).
