Purpose of Study 

Participants will complete a series of computerized cognitive tests and two health questionnaires. The performance of young stroke patients will be compared to healthy controls for each computerized cognitive test. Whether stroke patients differ from healthy controls on these tests will allow us to understand whether these tests are adequately sensitive to mild cognitive impairment following stroke.

Eligibility 

To participate, the following must apply:

Experimental Group:

  • You are aged 18-55 years old
  • English speaking
  • Suffered a stroke or TIA in the past 0-3 years
  • Have a modified rankin scale (mRS) score of 0-1
  • You have normal, non-impaired use of your dominant hand

Control Group:

  • You are aged 18-55 years old
  • English speaking
  • You have normal, non-impaired use of your dominant hand
