This study aims to assess whether initial neuropsychological functioning and early changes in emotional processing in depressed adults correlates with symptom response to medications. We are currently observing the changes in people with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Bipolar Disorder II (BDII).
You may participate if you:
- are 18-65 years old
- are currently feeling depressed/low energy/lack of interest in daily activities
- can recall having days on high energy in the past (perhaps associated with decreased need for sleep) or being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder type II
- are currently not receiving any treatment for depression or are not responding to your current treatment
