Purpose of Study 

This research project will investigate rates of hepatitis C virus (HCV) reinfection after treatment, as well as characterize behaviours and exposures that predict or protect against reinfection.

Additional locations:  Liver And Intestinal Research (LAIR) Centre, BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS at 625 Powell Street, Pacific Gastroenterology Associates/GI Research Institute, John Ruedy Immunodeficiency Clinic (IDC) at St. Paul’s Hospital, and a remote option available for those unable to attend in person.

To participate you must:

  • be 19 years of age or older
  • be currently on Hepatitis C virus, or finished treatment in the last 3 months
  • have an undetectable viral load at the end of Hepatitis C virus treatment
  • reside in British Columbia
