Purpose of Study

The purpose of the registry is to gather detailed information on the nature and treatment of as many people with moderate to severe asthma as possible, and to better understand why exacerbations (worsening) of asthma develop.  Medical research using data from the registry will give us a better understanding of factors that set off the symptoms, signs, outcomes, and effects of treatments, the incidence of events, hospital admissions and disability and death in this population.

Participants must be 19 years of age or older, and be receiving treatment according to Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) step 3 to 5 (moderate to severe asthma).
