This presentation will explore the Balance of Care model (United Kingdom) and its application in Ontario. The Balance of Care is an approach for determining the right balance of resources between long-term care and homecare for local aging populations. The attendees will also learn how homecare assessment data can be used in conjunction with community engagement to create personas and packages of homecare service. Finally, they will discover what data sources and approaches can be used in British Columbia to determine the balance between long-term care and homecare for aging populations.
