Hosted by Dr. Marissa Lithopoulos, this science education fundraising event will showcase three hilarious comedians, three brilliant scientists and one host to provide music along the way.
The event will focus on the topic of stem cells feature a panel of distinguished scientists, including: Dr. Freda Miller, a neurobiologist and the deputy director of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Michael Smith Laboratories; Dr. Nika Shakiba, a systems and synthetic biology expert; Dr. Peter Zandstra, the founding director of the UBC School of Biomedical Engineering as well as the co-founder of Excellthera Therapeutics, Notch Therapeutics and the Centre for the Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine.
