About the speakers
Moira Renata is a junior data coordinator in the Digital Solutions Research Technology team. She is a UBC graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in statistics. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on statistical modeling, machine learning and data analysis. She previously worked as a data science intern and held a work learn position with the Data Management team. Through these experiences, she saw the importance of data management in research, which led her to return to the team as a junior data coordinator.
Anastasia Dropol is the data management team lead within the Digital Solutions Research Technology team. With seven years of clinical research experience in pediatric rare diseases, she transitioned to research data management in 2018. She provided comprehensive support for clinical, lab and translational research data management within the Provincial Health Services Authority. Since joining UBC in 2021, Dropol has been dedicated to offering tailored support, consultation and guidance to Faculty of Medicine researchers, helping to find digital solutions for varied research needs.

This workshop is part of our VCHRI Research Training Series. This series is designed to support the acquisition of advanced skills, techniques and knowledge and lead to enhanced practices in the conduct of research.
