Biography

Dr. Ryan Stubbins is a hematologist at the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program of BC and a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Hematology at the University of British Columbia. He is also a medical director of the Clinical Cell Therapy Laboratory at the BC Cancer Research Centre.

Dr. Stubbins completed his medical degree, residency training, Master of Science and hematology/bone marrow transplant fellowship at the universities of Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. He went on to pursue advanced research training at the BC Cancer Genome Sciences Centre and the University of Chicago. His clinical and research interests include leukemia, lymphoma, genetics, transplantation and cellular therapy, including CAR-T. He is particularly focused on translational research and the development of clinical trials.
