The Centre for Gender and Sexual Health Equity (CGSHE) is a renowned research centre dedicated to advancing evidence-based and ethical policy development in the realms of gender equity and sexual health, with the aim of improving health and well-being for all.
Researchers at CGSHE lead interdisciplinary, community-based, policy and clinical research to gain deeper insights into, and advocate for, gender and sexual health equity among marginalized and under-serviced communities in British Columbia, Canada and globally. CGSHE consistently offers expert evidence and consultation to all levels of Canadian government, as well as international policy bodies, including City of Vancouver, BC Ministry of Health, House of Commons, United Nations and World Health Organization.
