Join us for a high-level overview of Learning Health Systems (LHS). This session will define the continuous learning cycle of an LHS that aims to improve patient outcomes and experience through knowledge, practice and data collection. Concrete examples of functioning learning health systems in the Canadian health care context will be presented and attendees will be provided with strategies for applying LHS concepts and workflows in their practice area. Attendees will also learn about the preliminary stages of transforming our infrastructure into one that is constantly growing and bettering itself.
