Phase 1 Clinical Trials Research Unit

UBC Hospital

The Phase 1 Clinical Trials Research Unit (P1 CTRU) at UBC Hospital provides dedicated inpatient capacity for first-in-human and early-phase clinical trials. Designed for complex studies requiring intensive monitoring, specialized care and infusion-based protocols, P1-CTRU brings together clinical expertise and hospital-based services to support the safe and efficient delivery of early-phase trials and the evaluation of emerging therapies.

Hematology Research Unit

Vancouver General Hospital

The Hematology Research Unit (HRU) at Vancouver General Hospital is British Columbia’s first dedicated inpatient Phase I clinical trials unit for blood cancers. HRU safely delivers high‑acuity, early‑phase hematologic trials requiring continuous monitoring and multidisciplinary clinical expertise.

Clinical Research Unit

Vancouver General Hospital

The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) at Vancouver General Hospital is VCH’s hub for multidisciplinary trials, providing clinical, operational and regulatory support across the full trial lifecycle. CRU coordinates participant visits, product management, laboratory services and biospecimen collection.
