Mitacs is a national organization that is catalyzing innovation by facilitating collaborative research between academia and industry or non-for-profit organizations. In this information session, discover programs at Mitacs to grow your network, access funding and support students. In addition, Health Research BC and Mitacs are partnering on the Mitacs Accelerate and Mitacs Elevate programs that support graduate students and postdoctoral fellows gain experience working with B.C.’s life sciences sector. Accepted students and fellows will receive guidance from expert mentors at B.C.-based life sciences companies and gain hands-on business skills, enabling them to advance their knowledge to solve complex health challenges.
This workshop is part of our VCHRI Research Training Series. This series is designed to support the acquisition of advanced skills, techniques and knowledge and lead to enhanced practices in the conduct of research.
