The COVID pandemic turned the health system from in-person to virtual in a few short months. In B.C., in order to address the rural, remote and indigenous equity of access of care, and also to improve provincial access to health services, the Real Time Virtual Support (RTVS) network suite of virtual services were established. This presentation introduces the RTVS lines, and focuses on our evaluation efforts to fulfill the four key missions of this network.
Learning Objectives
In this presentation, you will learn:
- To be introduced to the different virtual care lines in RTVS
- To understand how the RTVS evaluation was set up with associated metrics
- To discuss the ongoing evaluation efforts in the ongoing growth of RTVS in B.C.
