Purpose of Study
To identify the clinical, social and cultural determinants of late HAART initiation and to determine the impact of HIV-related care (routine access to care, physician experience, physical and social barriers to care) and use of community-based organizations on HAART uptake and retention.
Eligibility
Inclusion Criteria:
- BC residents who are over 19 years of age, have been diagnosed as HIV positive, have initiated HAART for the first time within 6 months of completing our baseline survey, and are able to provide informed consent
