Purpose of Study
The purpose of this study is to learn about the experiences of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-blind individuals at community pharmacies through focus group discussions. By identifying some of the challenges and impacts that the current quality of care has on Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-blind individuals in community pharmacy settings, pharmacists will be better equipped to meet the needs of patients who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-blind.
Eligibility
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- are hard of hearing
- are 65 years of age or older
- are able to use Zoom
- use American Sign Language or English
- live in B.C.
- have used at least one medication in the last year
