Purpose of Study
The purpose of this study is to examine how clinical ethicists, other health professionals and the health care systems in which they work are preventing and responding to moral distress of health care staff during the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. The aim of this research is to explore current challenges and effective strategies of professionals addressing moral distress in order to inform development of future moral distress initiatives within health care and other settings.
Eligibility
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- are a clinical ethicist or other professional (e.g. psychologist, spiritual care provider)
- have provided services (e.g. moral distress debriefings, education, policy) to address moral distress within Canadian health care systems during the COVID-19 pandemic
- are able to complete a survey and/or interview in English
