Overview
The purpose of this project is to engage Indigenous peoples with respiratory conditions to understand their experiences living with respiratory conditions; to explore Indigenous peoples’ healthcare experiences; and to identify promising practices that can improve the treatment experiences and outcomes among Indigenous peoples with respiratory conditions.
You may be eligible to participate if you are an Indigenous adult with a respiratory condition (e.g. asthma or COPD) and living within, or accessing care within the Vancouver Coastal Health region. Anyone who assists in caring for the individual's condition is also invited to join (e.g. spouse or family member).
Study Coordinators and Research Nurses cannot give medical advice over the phone.
