Access/Operational Support for the UBC/VCH IT Network
VCH Research Institute contracts with UBC MedIT to provide IT services to our research community.

For Network access, perimeter firewall management, or central file/print services on the UBC network, e-mail medit.servicedesk@ubc.ca with a description of your request or call 1-877-266-0666. For network failure emergencies, call 1-877-266-0666.
Access to VCH Network
To request network access please complete the appropriate Technology Services Request Form via Health Shared Services BC. The form is on the VCH intranet and is only available to those with a VCH login and on the VCH network.
Access to UBC Secure Wireless Network
UBC wireless network has been installed in the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre, Jack Bell Research Centre, Robert H.N. Ho Research Centre and the VGH Research Pavilion.
The service is identical to that found in many facilities across the Point Grey and VGH campuses. Instructions on how to connect, or for any related questions, please visit the wireless Quick Start Guide on the UBC IT website.
UBC wireless is not meant to replace existing services, rather we expect it will enhance current technology.
