Biography

Dr. John Gill is a professor in the Division of Nephrology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the supervisor for master's and PhD candidates at the UBC School of Population and Public Health. He is president elect of the Canadian Society of Nephrology, chair of the American Society of Transplantation Education Committee, associate editor of the American Journal of Transplantation, member of the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (CJASN) Editorial Board, member of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Ethics Committee, immediate past president of the Canadian Organ Replacement Register and co-chair of the Canadian Renal Transplant Study Group (CRTS). His interests include clinical outcomes in kidney transplantation, access to care, clinical trials and health services research.
