Purpose of Study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of selnoflast compared with placebo in participants with asthma.

Eligibility

You may be able to participate in this study if you:

  • are between 19 to 80 years old
  • have been diagnosed with asthma by a physician at least 12 months prior to screening
  • are taking an inhaled medication which contains an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), plus an additional controller medication including a long-acting bronchodilator (LABA) and have been consistent on this treatment for at least three months prior to screening (with no inhaler changes in the past four weeks prior to screening)
  • have no history of smoking, or are a former smoker with less than 20 pack years (40 cigarettes per day for 10 years, or 20 cigarettes per day for 20 years)
  • agree to refrain from heterosexual (male-female) intercourse or use at least one acceptable birth control method during the study treatment, until the safety follow-up visit
  • are not pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant
