This workshop will provide an overview of all services offered by the Office of Research Services. Topics that will be discussed include:

    • RPIF (Research Project Information Form)
    • Indirect costs
  2. Post-Award
    • Research accounts
    • Ethics compliance
    • Award management
    • Transferring funds
  3. Clinical Trial Registration

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Improve your understanding of services offered by the Office of Research Services
  • Learn who to contact for assistance with grant and account queries
  • Learn specific items needed for grant application signatures and research accounts
  • Learn tips for dealing with specific granting agency submissions such as Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and US Department of Defence

 

About the Speaker:

Susan O’Neil is the Research Manager at the UBC Office of Research Services located at VCHRI. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and has over 15 years of experience in research administration.
