Health care in 2024 is complex and under strain. Workforce considerations, patient and community engagement, broader definitions of health to include social care, partnerships, innovation and constrained resources add to the complexities of delivering high-quality care to British Columbians. Clinicians, academics, educators, health leaders, politicians and the public are all needing to adapt to rapid changes in the health system.
