Biography
As a NeuroInterventional Radiologist, my clinical and research interests are focused on the minimally invasive, image-guided treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, arterial stenosis, and pulsatile tinnitus.
I completed 3 years of fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology/Neuroendovascular Surgery and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). My Diagnostic Radiology Residency training was also completed at UCSF, where I was elected Chief Resident and received the RSNA Resident /Fellow Research Award. My medical-surgical rotating internship and Master of Science degree were obtained at the University of Toronto. For my graduate work, I was awarded a Young Investigator Award by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. I graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Medicine with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha.
