Biography

Dr. Margot Davis is a cardiologist at Vancouver General Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital, a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and director of the UBC Cardiology-Oncology Program. She attended medical school and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at UBC. She then completed fellowships in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology as well as cardio-oncology and cardiac amyloidosis at Stanford University School of Medicine. She obtained her Master of Science degree in clinical epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. 

Dr. Davis is co-chair of the CCS/CHFS Position Statement on Cardiac Amyloidosis, a primary panel member of the CCS Cardio-Oncology Guidelines, and a secondary panel member of the CCS Heart Failure Guidelines. She is on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Heart Failure Society Board of Directors and she is vice president of the Canadian Cardiac Oncology Network. Her research interests are focused on the prevention, diagnosis and management of heart disease related to cancer therapy, cardiac amyloidosis and advanced heart failure.
