Purpose of Study
The purpose of this study is to make heart care both personalized and easy to access, regardless of location. The MOSAIC study team brings together heart ultrasound (including point-of-care ultrasound), blood tests, genetics and clinical information, then uses secure, advanced computing to find patterns that typical care can miss. The goal is simple: earlier answers and better-fitting tests and treatments, available at the point of care, from big city hospitals to rural and remote clinics.
Participants will attend an echocardiography appointment as a part of their regular clinical care, followed by a blood draw at the hospital lab. They will also be asked to complete a short questionnaire about their health history and demographic details.
Eligibility
This study is open to individuals over 19 years of age who have been referred for an echocardiogram and are able to provide informed consent.
Disclaimer
Study Coordinators and Research Nurses cannot give medical advice over the phone.
