Purpose of Study
The purpose of this study is to identify gaps in health services and make recommendations for the development of high-quality and equitable systems of stroke care informed by young women stroke survivors' experiences.
Eligibility
Phase one of the study is closed for recruitment. This phase was open to individuals between 18 to 60 years of age who self-identify as a woman diagnosed with a stroke after 2012. Participants must reside in British Columbia and be able to understand and communicate in English or Portuguese.
Phase two of the study is currently recruiting. This phase is open to family members and/or caregivers of young women stroke survivors. The young woman that family members and/or caregivers support must have had a stroke between the ages of 18 and 60 years old, and the stroke must have happened after 2012. Family members and/or caregivers must live in British Columbia and be able to speak English to participate.
