Biography

Dr. Elizabeth Bryce is the regional medical director for infection control at Vancouver Coastal Health Acute. She is dually qualified in medical microbiology and internal medicine and is a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Bryce is a member of the Pandemic Influenza Guidelines Committee for Respiratory Protection as well as a reviewer for Infection Control Guidelines for the Public Health Agency of Canada. She is a co-chair of both the Canadian Nosocomial Infection Surveillance Progam and the Provincial Infection Control Network of British Columbia. Dr. Bryce is one of the founding members of the UBC Certificate in Infection Control as well as several on-line educational modules on this topic.
