Biography

Erin completed her Bachelor's in Honours Biophysics and Master’s in Medical Physics at the University of British Columbia. Her early research projects included analyzing magnetic resonance spectroscopy data from in vivo brain studies and performing myelin water imaging measurements in the healthy human spinal cord. She then pursued a PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Bern, in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, working on advanced acquisition techniques for magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Erin is now a post-doctoral research fellow in the Division of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, at UBC, applying her technical expertise to magnetic resonance spectroscopy studies of multiple sclerosis brain.
