My research mainly focuses on examining how the environment in physical design and social aspects impact the care experiences of persons with dementia. Being a practitioner-researcher, I use a range of methods to find practical solutions to address problems in care facilities and acute hospitals. For my PhD dissertation, I use action research approach to engage frontline staff, local leaders, patients and families to co-create changes for patients with dementia.
